  My first real taste of what it means to be in the room. I worked directly with the CEO, CIO, and founders, sat in on executive meetings about product onboarding and key strategic decisions. At a ~C$300M AUM firm, I never felt like just an intern. I had real responsibilities, my input was taken seriously, and I got to watch how founders actually think and make decisions. That kind of exposure early on shaped the way I think about my own ambitions and what I want to build.
